Liepa's Dream
A little girl Liepa had a great dream to have a play house. Knowing how strong Liepa‘s desire is, how strong is her wish to enjoy it as other children, who are able to go to the kindergarten next to her house, do, we decided to make Liepa‘s dream come true.

LOSEV-The Foundation for Children with Leukemia has been organizing The International Week for Children with Leukemia (IWCL) for the past 8 years to enrich the lives of children and mothers who are touched by childhood cancer, specifically leukemia.

On the 31st of May of this year (Sunday), in the yard of Children‘s Hospital of Vilnius University, a Kiting Feast, welcoming all the children who have (or had in the past) oncological diseases and their families, will take place.

Despite cold weather, Good Luck Windmills event organized on 6^th-8^th March at Kaziukas‘ fair, 2009 brought endless smiles. Organizers were smiling, buyers were smiling...

On the 9^th of March the representatives of Childhood Cancer Fund Rugutė took part in the conference Supporting People with Oncological Diseases and Their Families: Britain’s Experience – Guidelines for Lithuania that was organized by Britain‘s Charity Fund The Tiltas Trust, Oncology Institute of Vilnius University and the Embassy of United Kingdom in Lithuania.

Rugutė is so glad to meet people who turn out to be loyal friends for a lifetime, always offering the hand of goodness to the little children.

A big package from Chicago – a box full of new, most beautiful toys and most interesting games for the little children of Rugutė – arrived to Rugutė’s Home in January.
