Under the Angel’s Wings

The Rugutė‘s Home is home for the regular meetings of the self-relief group of the parents who lost their children to cancer called Under the Angel’s Wings.

Palliative care

The Fund pays attention to children’s palliative care. We think that it is a must to understand the needs of sick child and his family during this period of treatment and to respect their decision to spend it at home or at hospital. Because of that, the Fund has bought oxygen concentrator, secretion aspirator, pulse oximeter and other equipment in 2007 and tries to ensure the quality palliative care at home for children who leave the hospital.

Support with medical equipment

The Fund initiates or joins various charity actions that aim to improve the quality of Lithuanian children with cancer treatment.

Rugutė‘s Home

Rugutė‘s Home – a small cottage near Vilnius University Children Hospital, offering the space for the quality time and short-stay accommodation possibility for the families with the children with cancer.

Let’s Make Children’s with Oncological Diseases Dreams Come True

One of the most sensitive projects of the Fund aims to fulfil dreams of the sick children. They dream of various things.

Social Support for the Families

The Fund supports families with foodstuffs, caring devices and medicines necessary in course of the treatment. Protecting patient’s rights for the treatment quality and availability of modern and effective treatment the Fund case by case pays for individual consultations or covers partial amount of treatment expenses in foreign clinics.

Ligita's Dream
Ligita really wanted to learn to play a guitar and have recently started making this dream come true. She started to attend guitar playing lessons. However, by beginning to learn to play the guitar, only a part of the dream came true.

Renius is a cheerful and active child. There were three times when Renius underwent the treatment due to the initial and recurrent disease and each time he won the fight and this autumn the boy heard that the illness had returned for the fourth time.
