We lost Linutė this evening at 11:30 pm. She was always smiling, lovely girl and a special friend. Linutė showed us endless strenght of her soul, gave us much of her heart‘s warmth, kindness, love.
We say we are sorry for the parents and brother.

Right before Christmas, we want to thank you for taking the very uneasy path, step by step, together with us. You are tightly holding our family’s hands and sharing endless love, warmth and care with Liepa.

From all of our hearts we want to thank the largest road and bridge construction company in Lithuania, Kauno Tiltai, for their initiative of sending no holiday cards to their partners and clients this year, but allocating the saved money to the Fund Rugutė instead.

Accumulation of information on Childhood Cancer

The Fund pays particular attention to preparation and spread of information on children’s oncological diseases and care to the families with the sick children. All information prepared is published on the website www.rugute.lt.

Annual Event The Island of Friends

From year 2006 the Fund organizes the meeting The Island of Friends what became an annual celebrity. The aim of the meeting is to round up the families having similar destinies, encourage them to share social and medical information, experiences, thoughts and feelings as well as give a day of miracles for children.

Christmas Journey

Each year the Fund organizes its nice action Christmas Journey. During the action children patronized by the Fund are visited and Christmas presents are given.

Droplet of Blood

The Fund invites to follow its example and give a droplet of blood for children with the oncological diseases as well as to become active promoters of gratuitous donorship. Two times a year the action Droplet a Blood is being organized at the Rugutė‘s Home.
