Good Luck Windmills Brings Endless Smiles

Despite cold weather, Good Luck Windmills event organized on 6^th-8^th March at Kaziukas‘ fair, 2009 brought endless smiles. Organizers were smiling, buyers were smiling...

 

Team full of new ideas and kindness were selling their hand made windmills for people and spread ideas about Fund Rugutė.

 

The Good Luck Windmills campaign became an example that the most important thing is to have an idea and to believe in its fullfilment. And by doing this, you can share optimism, happiness and give the endless love for children. During the campaign, 8400 Litas were collected.

 

The organizers and participants of the event share their feeling and emotions:

 

Justė:

It is so good to feel that everyone becomes united, that everyone is trying to sell a windmill, that everyone is happy and share their happiness with others. During these few days, I saw many good people and found many good things in my friends and at myself as well. And now I know how good it is to do good deed, especially for children who are sick...

 

Tadas:

This action gave me much happiness and good time. Everyone was cheerful and that is why the financial support seemed to be not the most important thing, because the most important is to know, that someone is caring about you, and we can help each other.

 

Agnė:

It is very difficult to write something because everything can look very banal. But the most important things for me were as follows:

1. To learn what it is to support children and organize similar action;

2. To find out that even in such difficult eonomic situation much of goodness and kindness remains. The belief in people came back...

 

Ieva:

When my friends offered me to join this action, I had no doubt about attending it. It was a great feeling to help children and know that you did something that they would be better. Now it seems to me that you need so little effort to help others and feel happier. I wish everyone would feel this!

 

Rasa:

It was very nice to help children and give people smiles together with windmills.

 

Ieva:

Sometimes even small and sincere jobs can do a lot. Now I am sure that there are many good people who want to help others in Lithuania. I am happy because Good-Luck Windmills not only collected money bus also let people show their attention and sincerity. Thank You! Despite the fact that the weather was really cold, I was feeling amazing!

 

Monika and Paulius:

It was really great! When we decided to joing this event we were thinking that we are going to do a good job. But now we think it was not a job, it was a pleasure! We are happy that it gave pleasure for others too. Thank you all for good emotions and thoughts.

It is a nice feeling to do good jobs... We had a great time, and I believe that everything that is in the word Happiness the wind will blow to the children.

I had a dream to participate at the Fair of Kaziukas when I was a child. And my dream not only came true, but also rose in importance. I am happy I could do it and it is very difficult to say what I am feeling now. It is good to know that there are people whose beautiful ideas will help children with cancer.

I am happy to join this event! I am happy because of nice people who participated in it and I hope we will do the same in the future.
