At the beginning of the year 2008 Rugutė’s Home has opened its doors, becoming yet another haven for the children of Rugutė Fund. At the time completely unfurnished Rugutė’s Home now meets its guests by enveloping them in its special comfort and warmth.

 

We are immensely happy to have Rugutė’s Home, to which we can invite the whole Rugutė’s family for a cup of tea, where good people gather together to donate their blood for those in need and where parents who lost their children can simply come and hold each other by the hand.

 

But, most importantly, the children, who come to the hospital for various medical tests from other cities, the children who are released from the hospital for a few days and their parents, when they come to visit their beloved ones, as well as the children in remission can stay here in cosy homely surroundings of Rugutė‘s Home.

 

Today it is especially good to have Rugutė‘s Home, where we can get warm in front of the fireplace on cold winter days, and have nice time chatting lying on the green grass in summer together with You, our Captains. And the most important thing is that at Rugutė‘s Home we have the pleasure of hearing the sound of Your laughter and see Your radiant eyes when you find the most exciting games to play. This is the place where we can embrace each other and simply stay together for a while.
