The 4th of February – World Cancer Day

Today, like on any other day, we are holding hands of those who are being treated in hospitals and give our embraces to those in remission, and think about those who left us...

 

In our hearts we guard your dreams that came true (and those that we believe will definitely come true) – to learn to draw, to visit Japan, to fly an airplane, to feel good, to play basketball, to travel to some beautiful land...

 

Today, like on any other day, we yearn more than anything (though it seems so little) – that children would not be ill, that they would Always smile, that their parents would Always have a steady hand they can hang onto near them, and that there would Always be kind people who we can thank for their love and support that they give to our little ones and their families in the most difficult trip of their lifetime.

 

We want for this day to become a symbol of the strength that we collect from our togetherness, a symbol of our ability to walk through our illness bravely and to do our best so that our little Fighters could smile as much as possible.

 

Thank you, dear friends, for allowing us to sail together in your ships.
We thank everyone who, wholeheartedly, struggle to help the Captains‘ ships avoid storms and dangerous shallows.
