The Island of Friends 2010

It was a day filled with infinite love, warmth of our hearts and child-like play. It was a day that awarded everyone with special feelings, like getting lost in an embrace of a dearly missed friend and knowing that there is nothing in the world as precious as friendship.

 

On the 5^th of July our little Captains sailed their ships to The Island of Friends for the 5^th time in a row. The great Captains’ harbor – Šešuolėliai estate – was charged with children’s laughter, parents’ smiles and the joy of togetherness for the entire day.

 

Dearest and beloved Captains,

 

From all our hearts we are thankful for one more special day spent together with you. Thanks to your being there with us the memories of The Island of Friends will prevail in our hearts for the whole year and will prove that what is essential is invisible to the eye. Thank you for the feast you have created, the feast where we looked, talked and listened with our hearts.

Inga Samušienė and all her felt-makers – for the lovely hand-made stars that our Captains received, and Aurelija – for the boxes the stars were in. Potter Riva – for the stars made of clay. Company A.A.A. Baltic Reklama – for the wonderful life-savers. Company Apvalūs medžio gaminiai – for the flag holders. Gintė Zurbaitė – for the drawing of starfish, the main symbol of The Island of Friends 2010.

 

Stasys Križanauskas, Director General of company Diamedika – for the ambulance car that ensured the safety of all the participants. Hotel Radisson Blu Hotel Lietuva – for accommodations they provided to our children’s families. Ž. Baronas’ company – for providing the sound systems.
