The Island of Friends 2009

Most important – to spot a miracle in simple things!

 

On the 5^th of July the Fund Rugutė held the fourth meeting The Island of Friends. Our team once again realized that in order to make all the dreams come true, it is only important to really want it, work for it and keep faith.

 

Our beloved Captains,

 

We say the most sincere word of thanks for leading your ships to the gorgeous Šešuolėliai estate. You created The Island of Friends by cherishing friendship, by spending time together, by sharing smiles, unconditional love and the unique sincerity. You are the reason why our fourth meeting filled our hearts with joy of Miracle.

 

 

Priest Rimas Venckus – for the cozy, heartfelt and unforgettable time collecting our thoughts and for the dreams that were meant to come true.

 

Egidijus Meilūnas, the Ambassador of the Republic of Lithuania in Poland – for spreading the goodness in all of our hearts.

 

Hosts of Šešuolėliai estate – for opening up the gateway to the Captains’ Harbor and for wonderful friendship. Ona Jurkšienė, Director of company Maisto fabrikas – for her care and most delicious food.

 

Asta and Andrius, hosts of the event – for being together and for their aid in search of Miracles.

 

Theatre Keistuolių teatras – for their performance Geltonų plytų kelias and for providing a possibility "to spot a miracle in simple things", music band 69 Danguje – for their songs and hearty interaction with children, Vygintas Ušinskas – for filling children’s eyes with rapture during the soap bubble show, Diana and Arvydas, the magicians of the magic theatre DiArchy – for providing miracles.

 

Company Atrakcionada – for inflatable amusements and children’s giggles, Sasys Križanauskas, Director General of company Diamedica – for ensuring our safety, Ladies’ Club Suoma – for the Ships that brought our guests to the Island. Company Elmenhorster Vilnius – for satisfying our Captains’ thirst, company Šiaudinių mėsinė – for meat products, Gintė Zurbaitė – for the playful and scampish seahorse that became a new friend to our Captains, Charity and Support Fund Viltis-Vikonda – for the sweet ice cream surprise, Ž. Baronas‘ company – for sound equipment, hotels Ehotel Tennis, Žemaitė and Reval Hotel Lietuva – for providing accommodation, Jurgita Jasinskaitė of Public Entity Amatų gildija – for the wonderful hand-made toy-ships that will help our children find their way to the future Islands of Friends, Gintarė and Vita – for the drawing of the sea that provided shelter for seahorses decorated by children, company ND Linija – for helping to make the decorations.

 

Ligita, Simona and Jekaterina – for the song Šypsenėlė that they prepared for The Island of Friends, Eglė and Auridija – for decorating children’s faces, Sonata and Karolis – for funny games, the most fantastic clown Vytas – for exchanging ice cream to grins, Linas the Chief of Game Castle – for professional guarding of the castle.

 

Feliksas, Paulius and Linas – for immortalizing the event in pictures. Tautvilė, Simas, Guoda, Vaidas, Inga, Mindaugas and Jurgita – for being with us and helping us organize the event.
