Fund Receives a Donation of Books

On the 24^th of September, 2005, we had a meeting with Mr. Robertas M. Duda, Mrs. Ginger L. Haughton and singers Liveta and Petras Kazlauskai.

During the meeting we discussed the current and future projects of the Fund, its aims, structure, activities and future plans. We also talked about possibilities and ways of cooperation and shared our experience.

Mr. Robertas M. Duda and Mrs. Ginger L. Haughton gave a special donation to the Fund – books about malignant tumors, medical procedures, emotional hardships and nutrition, as well as books about diseases that are adapted to children.

We are immeasurably grateful to Mr. Robert M. Duda, Mrs. Ginger L. Haughton and singers Liveta and Petras Kazlauskai for the warm and touching moments.

Thank you for offering a helping hand to our sick children.

We are happy about the warm relationship with Mr. Bengt Nilsson that budded in 2007. He cheered our Captains up by Christmas gifts, organized the trip to The Feast of Joy in Sweden for Lithuanian children...

International Week of Children with Leukemia in Turkey

It was in 2006 that the Fund Rugutė was invited to delegate one child and his/her mother to take part in The International Week of Children with Leukemia event in Turkey.
