Donating Blood

On 15^th September, 2005 the Fund Rugutė and Všį Nacionalinis kraujo centras organized an event called Give a Droplet of Blood for Children with Malignant Deseases.

We invited employees of UAB Meistro arsenalas to give their blood for children and become active volunteer blood donors, because the children with malignant deseases need blood and its components each day.

Donorship is a kind and free-willed decision of each person. We give hope to get better and sometimes we even save someone‘s life by giving blood.

The event was incredible. We have never felt so much attentiveness, care and willingness to help. Thank you all for your support, kindness and help for sick children.

International Week of Children with Leukemia in Turkey

It was in 2006 that the Fund Rugutė was invited to delegate one child and his/her mother to take part in The International Week of Children with Leukemia event in Turkey.
